I’m Reno Scott — a photographer and creative director based in Jacksonville, Florida, with roots in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia shaped how I see the world. The pace, the grit, the honesty. It’s a city where culture isn’t packaged — it’s lived in. Growing up there taught me to pay attention: to people, to movement, to emotion, and to what’s happening between moments. That instinct is still at the core of my work.

Photography became my way of documenting what felt real. Not perfection — presence. I’m drawn to narrative stories and documentary work, where the goal isn’t to manufacture a moment but to recognize it when it happens. Whether I’m working with brands, athletes, or creatives, I care about images that feel lived in and honest, not over-produced or performative.

Outside of photography, my interests live at the intersection of culture. I’ve always been inspired by music, art, and fashion — not as trends, but as languages. Album rollouts, personal style, underground scenes, and visual identity all inform how I think about storytelling and creative direction.

I also have a deep appreciation for JDM car culture. The design philosophy, the restraint, the engineering, the personal narratives behind each build — cars are another form of self-expression to me. They say a lot without needing explanation. That same idea shows up in my work visually: intention over excess.

Growing up, my favorite movie was Lilo & Stitch. At the time, I didn’t know why it stuck with me — but looking back, it makes sense. It’s a story about belonging, chosen family, and finding connection in unexpected places. A lot of my work circles those same themes, whether consciously or not.

Basketball was another early influence. Watching Allen Iverson wasn’t just about the game — it was about identity. About showing up as yourself even when the world expects something different. That mentality still resonates with me and quietly informs how I approach creative work and collaboration.

Artfvlt exists as an extension of all of this. What started as a personal creative outlet is evolving into a broader platform — a studio practice paired with an editorial and magazine direction. Artfvlt is about documenting culture across mediums: photography, film, and long-form storytelling. It’s a space for highlighting artists, athletes, and creatives who are building meaningful work on their own terms.

At its core, my work is about observation and intention. I don’t chase trends. I don’t over-direct moments that don’t need it. I care about story, composition, and emotional weight — imagery that holds value beyond the moment it was made.

I collaborate with brands, creatives, and athletes who value authenticity, who understand the power of restraint, and who want work that reflects who they actually are.
